Recording
The Shire’s recording engineer and full multi-track facilities are available for recording musical groups, or spoken word. Recording and sonically shaping all of the parts for the recording also includes selection and placement of microphones, placing the instruments, and balancing headphone mixes for the musicians in the session to best capture their performance. One of the most important aspects of a good recording studio is it’s engineer. With classical training, and extensive audio experience you will find our audio engineer to be a tremendous asset to any audio project. We understand that a good recording engineer must have good musical sense and have a skilled grasp of current recording technology and although the operation is high tech, the creative side is extremely important and can set the whole process apart. Mixing and Editing
These very vital processes demand a good ear for music, as
well
as knowledge and creativity. Recorded tracks are transferred to high
resolution digital editing workstations then individual tracks are fine
tuned and arranged to create an artistic and tasteful sound stage
presentation, and summed to a stereo two-track master. For more information see our FAQ page. |
